Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future: BAFS Elects New Executive Committee
At the BAFS–IAFS 2026 Joint Meeting in Sofia, a historic milestone was marked with the official handover of the BAFS Executive Committee.
The newly elected leadership - President Yanko Georgiev Kolev, Co-President Naim Uka, and General Secretary Sotirios Kalfoglou - takes office with a mandate to advance forensic sciences, deepen international collaboration, and strengthen BAFS across the region.
The Academy extends its sincere gratitude to outgoing President Ersi Kalfoglou and Co-President Nermin Sarajlić for their outstanding service and lasting contributions.
