Join the BAFS Working Groups

The Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences invites researchers, academicians, and professionals to join its Scientific Working Groups, established to promote collaboration, research, and innovation across all branches of forensic science.
Our working groups bring together experts from diverse disciplines to share knowledge, develop scientific projects, prepare publications, and contribute to regional and international initiatives. Participation in these groups strengthens the network of professionals dedicated to advancing forensic science, justice, and human rights within the Balkans and beyond.

Applicants are invited to express interest in one or more of the following working groups:

Each working group will operate under the coordination of appointed experts and will engage in collaborative research, publications, workshops, and educational initiatives supported by BAFS.
Who Can Join
Membership is open to:

Academicians and researchers affiliated with universities or scientific institutions

Forensic experts and professionals working in public or private laboratories

Master’s students, PhD candidates, and post-doctoral researchers in relevant disciplines
Members are expected to actively contribute to the group’s scientific activities, participate in meetings, and collaborate in joint projects and publications.

To join a BAFS Working Group, please complete the application form below.
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the BAFS Scientific Committee. Selected members will receive an official confirmation and further information about the activities of their chosen working group.
